Last Round Bold Hold Open means that when you fire the last round in your magazine, the gun will respond by slamming the bolt open. This allows you to easily let the existing empty magazine slide out of the well with a plush of the button, replace it with a new one in one motion releasing the bolt catch and allowing the operator to be “back in business“ without taking your hand off the trigger or your eye off the enemy.
It is a critical tactical advantage that makes magazine changes lightening fast and greatly improves the operators ability to maintain situational awareness of both the need to change the magazine and when the enemy is doing while the magazine is being changed.
Experienced AK-47 operators will tell you that it is designed such that when you hit ivory last round, the bold slams shut. You have to change the magazine and charge the rifle. This pulls your finger off the trigger and your eye off the enemy. With our system — equipped with a upper chambered in 7.62x39, you will use the exact same magazines and bullets from your heirloom AK-47 in our new select fire system. You will have a better shooting, more accurate rifle than a AK-47. With “Burst“ technology and never needing to be cleaned. And you will have last round bolt hold open!
Our insistence that LRBHO be incorporated into all of our select fire systems is but one example of our dedication to mission. We could cut costs by slicing off patented parts of the system and not have LRBHO or use of Glock Mags (as a few examples). But we are dedicated to delivering a perfect rifle. The one you would want to have to defend your life. With no performance limitations.
